Description
This point is on the right bank of the the Red River of the
North in St. Vincent, MN. The topographic map is no longer valid in this area, evidently because of flood damage in 1997 and subsequent
construction of levees and a new bridge. The best approach is to park at the dead end on the east side of the river where the bridge used to
cross (as shown on the topo). From here, hike north and east along the river until you determine the westernmost point with a compass or use
a GPS. The coordinates shown here are correct.
