Description
The
easiest way to reach this point is from the first I-84 exit in New York (US Rt. 6). Follow US6 west for less than a mile to the entrance of
Laurel Grove Cemetery on the left. Follow the cemetery road to the end of the peninsula where you will see a large NJ/NY witness monument
under the I-84 bridge and the Tri-State Stone at water's edge. The USGS topographic map incorrectly shows the position of the tri-state as
being in the river, but there really is a little piece of Pennsylvania at the tip of the peninsula.
